Access AfterSchool

Registration has begun for the fall 2015 session of SecondShift, which is available to all middle school students from Basalt to Rifle.  SecondShift will begin the week of October 5 at Rifle and Riverside and will begin the week of October 12 at Glenwood Springs, Carbondale and Basalt.

Access AfterSchool provides after-school and summer programs in the Roaring Fork and Colorado River valleys of Western Colorado.  Access is vital for keeping students connected to school and community through a combination of academic and enrichment classes that provide life skills, leadership development and an exploration of a wide variety of subjects including art, music, science, fitness, cooking, martial arts and much more.  Access SecondShift and Access BoostCamp serve between 1,900 and 2,130 total students annually.

Your support ensures that local youth will have access to engaging, creative and supportive activities during the after-school and summer hours, when students can fall prey to high-risk behaviors when no positive alternatives exist.  Access AfterSchool is a tax-exempt, 501(c)3 non-profit agency, which means that 100% of all donations are tax deductible.
